TL DR - I'm on Windows 10 and my DS4 doesnt seem to work with Dark Souls.

Thanks goes out to anyone who tries to help! I read that DS4 just doesn't work with Dark Souls on WIndows 10, but that can't be true because i've done it before. I reinstalled DS4, but it still didn't work. If you pull both triggers around half-pull, the camera should stop spinning. The problem is that the game has partial DirectInput controller support but it does not interpret the trigger axes correctly.

I restarted my computer plenty of times, but no matter what the issue still arose. First of all, make sure you always launch DS4Windows before Dark Souls 3 (this should work with all Dark Souls games btw), and make sure that in the program's settings, the box 'Hide DS4 Controller' is ticked, otherwise Dark Souls 3 will just tell you to go fuck yourself with your non XBox controller.
